They pass a wand
of the hands and feet - the highest bottom of the hands and feet - and suspended
me on something in the air from both sides of the stick, pending like a lamp, my
head down and my hands and my feet tied up, beaten and hitting all on my face
and my back, and then they took off my trousers and underwear and inserted a
stick for a distance of one or two cm in my ass and threatening me by electric
shocks.
Then I was
released after threatening me by rape and murder if I tried to say anything
about the torture and rape, which occurred with me in the police station. "
And about the
second incident of torture the Human rights group has confirmed that the
complaint related to the fact that members of police staff in the governorate of
Kafr El Sheikh on November 18, 2008, beat and insulted the Egyptian citizen
Mohammad Al Wardani (26 years) - a Student in the second Division Institute of
Social Work in Kafr El Sheikh - he had serious injuries in different parts of
his body.
When the student
tried to clarify the issue for doing nothing wrong, the police arrested him and
took him to the police station, there they attacked him again, where he was
released the next day. According to the complaint; members of detectives who
tortured him were Detective Chief Yasser Abu Al Kheir, and Associate Department
of Investigation Police Mustafa Hasanein, as well as a group of undercover
police force, who were dressed in civilian clothes.
The organization
stressed that Mr. Wardani and Mr. Shabakah submitted complaints to prosecutors
in each of Shatta in Damietta, and Desouq in Kafr El Sheikh, but authorities did
not take serious action to punish the perpetrators nor done justice for victims.
Gerald Kralik,
Chief of the "Friends of Humanity International" mentioned in his letters
that "torture has no place in States that apply the law and respect the dignity
of citizens, and that does not conform with the way the Egyptian government has
said it wants to establish and apply the rule of law".
Also he urged the
Government according to his saying, “to Order to form an independent commission
to conduct investigations on these two incidents and to provide results to the
competent judicial bodies to carry out its natural role in the prosecution of
the perpetrators of Egyptian Investigation and security; who practice torture at
police stations against innocent citizens, and to compensate these two people
for their injustice.”
The “Friends of
Humanity” asked the Egyptian government to the rehabilitation of many detectives
and police staff and urged them to respect citizens and work to preserve the
dignity of prisoners and instruct strict orders to all government personnel and
police detectives to stop all forms of torture of citizens and prisoners.
